We are looking for
Process Design Engineers / Lead Process Design Engineers
to join our team at Neste, Engineering Solutions in Porvoo and remotely.
In your role you will be part of designing new technologies for the future. In your role you will have opportunities to work closely with R&D, as well as possibilities to find solutions with different stakeholders and vendors. Take part in the opportunity for the refinery transformation by successful process design engineering.

Your role in creating a sustainable future
- participate in all project phases from pre-study and feasibility study via basic engineering to detailed engineering and As Built phase
- engage in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up phases.
- In addition to the above tasks, our lead process design engineers are also involved in
- leading process design teams in both domestic and international projects
- contributing to the development of processes and practices of Process Design discipline
- ensuring effectiveness and continual improvement.
Keys to success in this role
- M.Sc. or equivalent competence in chemical engineering
- professional experience in process design in the chemical industry (in the lead role 5+ years)
- ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- in the lead role you already have experience of leading teams
Other strengths we value
- experience with industrial risk analyses
- experience in process modelling.

The recruitment process will include interviews and a possible aptitude assessment. The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. A security clearance is obtained with their consent.
The position will be located in the Kilpilahti area in Porvoo, Finland. We work where we are most productive and offer flexible opportunities to work remotely. To promote cooperation and the sense of belonging we have agreed on meeting face to face with the team regularly and depending on the project needs.
