We are looking for an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver’s license, experience with operating dump trucks, and the ability to follow directions and safety protocols. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working outdoors and is looking for a long-term career in the transportation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a dump truck in a safe and responsible manner.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and fuel usage.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all applicable safety regulations and laws.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Type: Seasonal
Salary: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Bay, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
