Sales Coordinator urgently require to work for a world leading manufacturing organisation specialising in equipment for the military and forces industries. We are looking for an experienced sales administrator with a background in working with customers to ensure the service, delivery and quotations are to the highest standards and customers are fully upto date. This role requires an administrator with excellent and proven history of working with, liaising and updating customers, working with multiple internal departments and ensuring that customers are upto date and happy.
The Sales Coordinator, performs an important function in the support of our internal and external sales team as well as providing clients with high levels of customer intimacy and customer service. They will also work closely with the production team to track existing orders and provide valuable feedback to customers. This position provides candidates with an introduction to our business at the front end.
The primary objective of this role is to support our internal sales team, external sales team, senior managers and customers. Further to this an understanding of customer drawings and quotations is key as you will be tasked with discussing drawings with internal and external suppliers to generate in depth quotations.
We are looking for someone ideally with experience working within the Aviation, Automotive, Military or Defence industries or alternatively and industry where there is a high level of customer sensitivity.
Due to the nature of the role and customers we are seeking applicants with British passports or minimum 5 years within the UK and correct RTW Status.
Principal Activities - Sales
- Handling client requests for quotations (RFQ), by logging all enquiries that come through to the enquiries email and distributing them to the sales team.
- Support the sales team by providing quotations to customers.
- Preparation of daily quote reporting metrics to ensure visibility of quote backlogs, outstanding quotations and trends.
- Work with the production team to ensure accurate responses are given to customers chasing up delivery updates.
- Work closely with technical sales engineer to ensure reporting, quote activity and customer responses are efficient and effective.

- Comfortable in communicating effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Customer focused individual.
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team.
- Able to use MS Office.
- Willing to learn on the job and expand knowledge/grow in the role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
