Job Responsibilities for Document Controller:-

  • Managing all commercial and technical documents for the project.
  • Perform all clerical works which include filing, typing, photocopying, fax correspondence and other works being assigned from time to time.
  • Maintaining and updating the database and also manual filings.
  • Receiving and checking all incoming correspondence and transmittal of documents.
  • Dealing with other staff or visitors, on phone or in person.
  • Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents are given to the appropriate staffs.
  • Maintains an updated records of all approved documents and their distribution clearly.
  • Log incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Maintains the documents in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage and easy accessibility.
  • Generate various document control reports as required.
  • Capable to manage purchase related work follow up for PR, LPO and Invoices.
  • Expert to letter drafting and understand the matter.
  • Making and following minutes of meeting.
  • Proper managing Annual Service Contracts and following on time.
  • Maintaining records and tracking for the material received and pending.
  • Coordinating with Engineers and Manager for the site work to get it done without any delay.
  • Coordinate and get a stock report and submitting to the Manager.
  • Prepares Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports for submission to Consultant.
  • Monitoring and maintaining of logs/status of all the documents (Correspondences/letters

Of Subcontractors, Technical submittals and RFI etc.)

  • Typing of site documents and follows up of all the site needs.
  • Coordinate with consultant for contractor submittals approvals.
  • Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the

Appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.

  • Prepare transmittal of drawings, documents for submission to consultant or subcontractors.
  • Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
  • Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any
  • Damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
  • Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
  • Generate the various document control reports as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of data reports for head office as required.
  • Experience in EDMS & Aconex software as per requirement of Project.
  • Receiving and registering documents including mail, correspondence and other documents.
  • Updating and preparing reports.
  • Coping and distributing the documents both in hard and soft copies.
  • Following up document action lists.
  • Retrieve documents from archive as requested.
  • Providing support to management.
  • Report to Managers.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
